How it works

We've streamlined the process so you can focus on the interviews, not the networking.

Submit your resume

Upload your resume, pick the role, and tell us which company you’re targeting. All you need is your resume — we handle the rest.

Get matched with alumni

An Exponent alum currently working at your target company picks up your request from our exclusive network.

Get fast-tracked

They refer you through their company’s internal system. You skip the resume pile and land interviews faster than cold applicants.

Trusted by candidates

Once you submit your request, we'll notify members in our network who can refer you to your target company. They'll review your submission to see if you're a good fit. If someone is interested, we'll introduce you via email.
No. Referrals depend on whether referrers believe your profile matches the company's needs.
Your resume is the most critical factor. Make sure to tailor it to both the role and company you’re seeking a referral for. Consider using our resume review service if needed. Additionally, being active on Exponent—answering questions in the database, participating in peer mock interviews—helps referrers better assess your capabilities beyond your resume. Exponent members receive priority for job referrals, with their profiles shown before non-members.
At this time, we're only able to accept job referral requests from candidates who are authorized to work in the United States or Canada.
Members can receive unlimited referrals. For those without a membership, you are limited to 1 referral per month.
Your request becomes hidden from referrers in three cases: when you receive a referral, when you cancel it from your dashboard, or when it expires after 21 days.
Yes, you can submit another request after your previous one has expired (21 days) or after it has been canceled.
No, you cannot edit an active request (including changing the attached resume). You'll need to either cancel your current request or wait for it to expire (21 days) before submitting a new one.
